19 January 2011 - Cote d’Ivoire - Adoption of the resolution 1967 by the Security Council
On 19 January 2011, the Security Council unanimously adopted resolution 1967 which authorises the deployment of an additional 2000 military personnel to UNOCI until 30 June 2011. Temporary deployment of UNMIL troops (three infantery companies and one aviation unit) is extended for another four weeks.
